Debbie Andyanto

At a very young age, I learned that science is an interested field to explore the plant and animal kingdom. With this keen interest I choose to study Biology for my high school and university. As a Satya Wacana Christian University of Salatiga student, I graduated in April 1999 with an Industrial Microbiology major.

Consumers nowadays demand the convenience and safety on their foods. With this in mind, I continued my study in Food Safety in Wageningen University, The Netherlands.

And now as a graduate MSc Food Safety, majoring in Food Microbiology, I am ready to devote myself in food areas together with governments, supranational bodies, and companies around the world.

My contribution on the Food-Info project as the first translator for Indonesian, became my first work in food science area.
